Day 355 - Like Mother, Like Daughter

Today we attempted to finish all of our Christmas shopping. While we were at DFO we stopped in at Kate Hill, which most people know is one of my favourite shops. The girls have such wonderful taste, they picked up each bag on the shelf and tried them on. I even asked them for their opinion on which bag I should ask Santa for. Of course, they gave me good advice. I shouldn't be surprised I know.

Day 348 - Christmas Attire

I bought the girls a couple of dresses to wear on Christmas Day today. It was the first time I tried clothes on the girls in the shop. However, each time I tried something on the girls they wanted to keep it on and wear it home or they didn't want to try it on. I heard the catch phrase 'I don't wear this' a little too often at the shops today. I may end up a poor old lady with these fashionista's I am apparently bringing up.

Day 272 - It is never too early

I went out to one of my favourite shops Kikki.K today without my 2 favourite followers. I had a lovely time wandering around in there finding all the gorgeous organising stationary that I just love. I purchased a new diary and calendar ready for 2012. It is never too early I say to be organised!

Day 213 - Monorail, monorail, monorail!

We took the girls further into the city to do a spot of shopping today. My shopping mission was very unsuccessful, but I did have a look at the new Westfield shopping centre. If only I had a never ending cash supply and I am sure I would have shopped up a storm!
We caught the monorail around the city and the girls loved it. They kept us and the other passengers on the monorail by singing and chatting away. Next time we go to Sydney a trip on the monorail is a must just to see the priceless look on Olivia and Ava's faces.

Day 205 - Enter the world of bulk buying.

Costco opened in Canberra this weekend and with thanks to my mum for making me a household card member, we went for a little lookie. My favourite part was by far the trolleys. As a mum of twins, I often struggle to find twin trolleys that are clean or not the size of a bus! Costco ones are great!
It was so big inside and so much to look at. There were a few good buys and certainly if you had a huge family or would be willing to split things amongst a small group, you will be saving a bit of money. However I don't think i'll be buying my oil in bulk!

Day 196 - What a wonderful day.

Booked in a very girlie day with my wonderful friend Mel today. We started with a lovely, but interesting, massage in Griffith. We followed that up with a delicious lunch at Idelic in Kingston. Here I discovered the best hot chocolate I have ever had. Words cannot describe it, you just have to go try it yourself.

After all this luxurious food and relaxation, we hit the shops on a boot mission. With a lot more success than I had ever anticipated. Diana Ferrari had a sale nothing over $70, where I found 2 lovely pairs of boots. Even Mel who was only coming along as moral support bought herself a pair of new boots.

Thanks Mel for not only a wonderful day, but everything else that has come along with our friendship. I'd be a little lost without you nowadays.

Day 139 - A late night shopping misson

With the girl's birthday sneaking up on us, Mum, Jenny and I decided it was a good time for a late night shopping mission to Kmart Belconnen. I am grateful that it is open 24 hours, even though I doubt i'll ever head there after midnight at any time, it is great to know that when the girls go to bed I can duck over there to pick up a few things without the girls.

Thank you Kmart for giving me the ability to shop peacefully.

Day 104 - Some might say I don't need anymore...

... but I beg to differ on occasions.

After a lovely lunch date with one of my lovely besties, Mel, I had a little time up my sleeve while the girls were at daycare. So I thought I'd have a little look around the hyperdome. To my delight i found this lovely bag. I even did the good trick of looking at it once and leaving the store to look elsewhere just incase I found something more appealing. Obviously I didn't. So I have made room in my cupboard for my new bag.
