A New Year Resolution that I plan to keep in 2011 is a photo diary of my year. Since Olivia and Ava are growing up too quickly, I would like to capture as many memories as possible. Hence my project 365. 2011 is going to be another year full of surprises for us with the girls starting daycare and the prospect of me returning to work plus my family moving back home. I am sure there will be plenty more adventures to come this year.

Day 266 - 99 days to go!
We went out for dinner after working and daycare today. They always give us chocolates after dinner at the Rendezvous. The girls have learnt very quickly what chocolate is and certainly they know how to say it perfectly. They are obviously going to be chocolate lovers like me.
Oh and the countdown is on. 99 days to go!

Day 188 - Chocolate Heaven
Today Belinda, Cathy and I met at Max Brenner Chocolate Bar for a little bit of indulgence. It was very hard to chose what to try because it all looked so delicious. I am pretty sure that next time we go I will try something different.
I loved the mugs the hot chocolate came in and the waffle drizzled with dark chocolate was very decadent. Belinda had the brownie which I am sure next time I may have to try for myself. If you like chocolate, I recommend a trip to Max Brenner in Belconnen Mall.

Day 186 - Chocolate Eggie
The girls got a little treat today.
A chocolate eggie. We had 2 little hollow eggs left over from Easter, the girls have been having so much fun at home together that I thought today was a good day to give them a little chocolate eggie with their afternoon tea. They eat it so delicately which is very cute to watch.
I am sure they'll learn the difference between chocolate eggies and chocolate biscuits one day.

Day 114 - Hoppy Easter!
Today was Easter Sunday. We hadn't really talked it up with the girls too much, so it was a nice surprise when they got up to find baskets filled with chocolate egg and an even bigger surprise to find handbags filled with eggs for them! They had a couple of eggs for breakfast - eggs of the chocolate kind of course. It was very hard to say no to them. Before we got the day underway with an Easter egg hunt at Jenny's house and then dinner with the Kenningham's at Morgana's house.
They seemed to have a great day. They were certainly very tired by the time we came home after all our celebrating with family. Now to work through the mountains of chocolate we appear to have.
Any volunteers to come and help?

Day 106 - Death by Chocolate
To treat ourselves for our birthdays, Mel and I went out to Dendy's Premium Cinema and decided to attempt the death by chocolate, sharing of course!
Well after a Chocolate Sundae with delicious chocolate bits and a chocolate cookie we had thoroughly died! We didn't even get to try the mudcake nor the delicious looking chocolates. I was eternally grateful that I had ordered a pot of tea with it. I am going to have to stay off chocolate for a little while... at least until Easter!
We saw The Lincoln Lawyer with Matthew McConnaughey. It was a great movie.
Thanks Mel for a wonderful day.

Day 76 - Routines and Addictions
Every night we have a routine of a cup of tea and a biscuit at around 8.30pm. It has become so routine that a night doesn't feel complete without it.
I have to thank Belinda for one of our addictions. She brought over once a TV Mix of chocolate from Aldi, Olivia proved to us she liked them, so we tend to pick them up on our shopping trips. They are so addictive that you sit there and eat what you think are a couple then all of a sudden, half a packet has gone!
Our only complaint is that we'd like more chocolate covered almonds, there never seems to be enough! Personally I think Shane eats them all.
