Day 313 - Bye Mum.

This afternoon when I took my shoes off after work Ava decided to wander around the house with them on and then all of a sudden yelled out 'bye mum, I am off to work!'

Day 250 - Shoe lovers

It is funny how attached the girls come to a pair of shoes. First it was pink sneakers, then sparkly sneakers and then of course their boots. These Oshkosh shoes I have for the girls are their current favourite. Originally Olivia liked the pair on the right and Ava had the pair on the left. It is not always the case, which I guess is a good thing (it is showing early signs of sharing right!)

I hope I am not creating a couple of young Imelda's with this strong love of shoes they are showing already. Or maybe I am just compensating for never being able to find shoes I like for myself as easily as I do for the girls. Whatever the case, take me to another shoe shop and i'll walk out with more shoes for them. One can never have too many, right?

Day 194 - New Shoes almost for all.

We went shopping today at DFO, on the hunt for some funky wedding shoes for Kristy's upcoming wedding, with Nerida and Kristy. I am pretty sure we went into every shoe shop we passed. Unfortunately the girls got a little fiesty with one another so I had to leave before trying on some boots I found in Diana Ferrari. Hopefully they will still be there on Friday when I am child free for a few hours.

Day 26 - Australia Day

While getting ready for the bath tonight, the girls decided to raid my shoe cupboard.

I discovered Ava walking around with my slipper. Certainly a 37 degree day would be too hot for a winter slipper.

 I am sure they are going to raid this cupboard more and more as they get older, I best put my good shoes out of reach now.
